Every Move a Picture – On The Edge of Something Beautiful (12 AM)

Flaccid: a word to make even the most childish of grown men giggle, but also a perfect description of the incongruously-named Every Move a Picture’s new single.

A decent stab at indie electronica, it sounds ok until the whiny vocals and dull lyrics really start to grate (about 30 seconds in), and it becomes starkly obvious it really isn’t going anywhere interesting.

Sounding just like The Bravery, it doesn’t have the audacity to be bad; it’s just very difficult to get excited about, even more so on repeated listens. Perfect to bore those giggling grown men into submission.
