The Feeling - Sewn

The Feeling – Sewn

Chris George

Describing music to a friend can be a dangerous task; you might give people the wrong idea and not give the band due credit.

With that in mind, allow your humble correspondent to describe The Feeling’s “Sewn” as piano-powered, soft rock pop. Unfortunately, that sounds dangerously close to Keane, but The Feeling display far more substance and are nowhere near as offensively shit.

A very likable affair, “Sewn” plods along, with a catchy, upbeat tune that seems less dull the more you hear it. It eventually builds into something more exciting towards the end, but it’s like toast building into buttered toast.

“Sewn” is a pleasant-enough middle-of-the-road song, but it’s hardly going to change your life.

6/10
